Wire Cutters
38* needles and 40s (for the eyes)
A three inline tool or similar (available from wingham wool works in the UK)
Needle Felting Pad or Wool block to protect yourself and your surfaces plus wire cutters
Materials List
(Frame) 5m of 1.5 mm galvanised wire available from Amazon eBay etc
(Head)400 gms of white carded wool aka slivers or ripped batting. Corriedale or similar e.g. Bergschaf, C1 Pels, perendale etc.
A selection of grey through to black carded slivers
(For the horns) about 200gmsof dark fawn, and smaller amounts of gingery brown, dark brown and light brown for the horns. (take photos before you use it for colour reference)
50 to 100 grams of Swaledale Roving for the top coat or natural fleece (preferable).
Plus Small amounts of pale sheep skin coloured wool for the nose and around the eyes.
Amber, dark brown and green for the eyes.
N.B.
The Course is designed around these particular kinds of wool.
NO Merino!!! It is great for wet felting and for animal pelts but it is too fine and long to needle felt easily.
